I've always thought it would be more meaningful if elected officials pledged allegiance to the constitution and the bill of rights rather than the flag.

AND....lol.... would be a very nice bonus if they would actually mean it while saying it

It is what it is..........I think some parts of your comment are disrespectful.

Its hard to explain something that you can't put your finger on......impossible for some people to get.

You can "get" the brainiac stuff and some of us get the emotional stuff , but I would think a mournful jazz horn would pull some emotion from you, but maybe I'm wrong about that.
