This is why ignorant people shouldn't comment. It's a wind event. Doesn't matter how many control burns you have 100 mile an hour winds is uncontrollable.
Since you yourself are ignorant about the subject, then why did you comment? Everywhere else, there is wind and natural wildfires. Uncontrolled wildfires burning down subdivisions seems to only happen in California. We don't have that problem here because tree huggers don't dictate common sense forestry practices.

Everywhere else doesn't have 100mph winds with steep mountains, canyons and heavily populated areas combined.

Sure thing bubba. Every firefighter will tell you the same thing about this fire. It's wind and topography.
and will also tell you that controlled burns would help with the severity and how fast they spread without. Not to mention makes it so much harder for firefighters to access fires without controlled burns

The state has done noting to help with underbrush since the early 80’s...
Cal fire had been blocked by the environmental nazi’s from implementing basic fire control procedures like controlled burns...
How about all the “carbon emissions” since not only the underbrush is burning but the houses as well...

Blue state, areas affected full of rich democrat voters, you can bet FEMA will be rolling out the red carpet for them...
$750 is the standard they set for North Carolina...
