You can't get around the fact that China has been constantly opening new coal fired plants for many years now. Comparing per capita isn't a fair comparison because China has over half a billion people in poverty.
of course its fair because their populations are several times larger than america lol

But half a billion of them live in poverty. That means they aren't all driving cars, etc. So take their much larger pollution numbers and divide by a much larger population and get lower per capita numbers. They still put out much more pollution than the States and y'all give them a pass even though they're burning a lot more coal than we are. Look at the list of the 50 most polluted cities in the world. Most are in China and India. Not one in the U.S.
