Just watched an ambulance clear a busy intersection, then proceeded forward a Tesla comes across at 45 mph. Driver has head down no hands on the wheel. Plows the front end of the ambulance. Take these pos off of the street. All the people that have gas vehicles were driving that dip wad wasn't and the car couldn't figure out there was an emergency vehicle .

To avoid such incidents, I drive with a vehicle window down ( even on cold weather days ) to hear approaching emergency vehicles. Plus my only vehicle radio is a police scanner.

Hertz halts plan to buy 65k electric cars from Polestar

Hertz has backtracked on plans to buy 50,000 cars from Polestar - dubbed the European Tesla. Customers aren't keen on renting EVs - due to fear of running out of battery.

Polestar's CEO told the Financial Times it allowed Hertz to back out of the deal in the autumn of last year on the condition it agreed to hold the 13,000 cars it had already purchased for at least a year before selling them.
