Nope, you gotta read the story, the 808 miles is a hybrid. The regular electric is about 320 miles which is pretty much standard.

“The range-extended variant goes in a different direction, featuring a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 94hp (70kW), which charges the battery, and an electric motor developing 215 hp (160 kW / 218 PS) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque that drives the rear wheels. Customers will also find an 18.9 or 28.4 kWh battery pack.”

speaking of Elon;

"Last week, the Washington Post reported that Tesla CEO and Donald Trump super-fan Elon Musk was once, to use the term favored by MAGA, an "illegal." Which is to say, he did what the vast majority of undocumented immigrants do in the U.S. After he traveled here legally, he overstayed a visa and then worked without the legal authorization to do so."

As long as it isn't a Cybertruck.
I just watched a video where they gave a Cybertruck to a group of Maine Loggers to use for a while. Surprisingly they ended up really liking it although they all said it would never work in a Maine winter. They were impressed with the way it went down really muddy roads (some even said it did it better than their Fords).
