P/T Mechanic Fired For Trying To Better Himself!

Hi everyone...I'm Back.
Update...My husband bid on a full time drivers position. He had started training in the Center for the Diad Board. Was suppose to start school Sept. 26th for full time driver position. Now the Automotive District Manager told husbands supervisors to fire him do to insubordination....regarding time charged to meeting - Diad training! Union Steward was present....Calls were placed to District Package Manager and Union Business Agent. Automotive District Manager is out of control....Dist. Mgr. of Package said my husband is being targeted. Help Please!

Update...husband was told to go back to work tonight by the Manager of Package! Will keep everyone updated.

....the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
Makes a person wonder how management handles the really tough stuff.
The company has alot of higher management people who are out of control and accountable to no one.
