Package Handler Advice

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to get some wise council on working as an AM 3-8 Unloader/loader for UPS. I'm currently 23 years old in grad school working on my Master's in sports management online and I serve as a graduate assistant at the school which pays for all my fees and a small stipend. Since about 2014 while still getting my bachelors in exercise science I've been working for Cracker Barrel as a server. I'm a bit burned out working almost every weekend and holiday known and just want something different even though it would be a pay cut for now. I was interviewed by HR last week and they sent my info in for a background check, which I think is good. What do you all think I should do if I am offered?

BTW: I'm really drawn to UPS by the healthcare benefits and the claimed promotion from within.

With the new UPS Saturday ground service you may find yourself working Saturdays. Holidays off but unpaid for the first year. 2 weeks paid vacation after your first year.
