Israel's troops only entered Gaza since Hamas took over for punitive raids after Israelis were attacked. There were no Israeli troops in Gaza on October 7th.
No they didn't. When Hamas came into power the Israel government removed all Israeli settlers. The Palestinians went from living on 25% of Gaza to 100%.
