natives were there before any americans
And those natives were divided into about 500 tribes, with many languages and customs, who fought each other over the land they controlled. The arrival of the Europeans did two things. It wiped out the majority of Native Americans with introduced diseases and beat the rest in warfare with superior technology. The Native Americans were often just as brutal in attacking Europeans as the Palestinians were last week attacking Israel. It's a settled issue, Native Americans are citizens, often with special considerations because of treaties that granted assistance and reserved land in exchange for peace. The U.S. government often broke those treaties in the past but after Native Americans were given citizenship and access to courts there's very, very little of that today.

Ya we should have all just stayed in our original countries. Some races of people would be living in better conditions than they are today, some much worse, and some extinct.
i believe in free markets ie free movement of people

however you have no right to attack natives for their land and to destroy their competing ethic.

It's sad that several natives died protecting their land, just as whites died fighting the red coats.
The real argument is if Natives lives are better now than they would have been if Europeans never came? Same can be said for Africans if they were never brought here as slaves?
