I never have a problem losing pens. Though my delivery notices fall out from time to time. Not worried about those but if they fall out then so do my lottery tickets.

It's funny how weird a lot of us are about pens. Not a fan of the UPS pens. I like the clear blue Bics or any good push ball point. Pencils can work better in the bitter cold, except for on letters when service crossing, the shiny cardboard & plastic pouches are so much of the actual parcel, it's ridiculous. Sharpies come in handy on occasion as well. Just don't ever use a pencil to fill out your DVIR... God forbid!

Tucked over ear/under cap, & in DIAD pouch (where I also carry infonotes, those would melt in my shirt pocket).

Put the pen in the inner pen pocket of your shirts' left breast pocket, and slide the pen clip over the fabric.

I can go weeks without losing a pen than I'll lose 2 or 3 on the same day....

There's a few places on some of the routes that have free pens, with a rubber grippy part where you typically touch when you write...

That with the fact the pens are 2-3 times the thickness of a normal pen works good to stay in the pocket.
