People walk through Grand Central Terminal on the day before the famed Manhattan transit hub turns 100 years old
in New York City. The terminal opened in 1913 and is the world's largest terminal covering 49 acres with 33 miles of track.

Photographer Scott Cromwell captured the split-second moment when a chameleon went in for the kill.
Mr Cromwell watched as Geoffrey, a 17-month-old chameleon released his tongue towards a mantis and
hit it straight on.

Excellent image.
Good job of getting the foreground in focus and properly exposed as well as the background.
Note the difference in temperature between the bright snow (5200 degrees Kelvin) and the deep shadows (7500 Kelvin).
If you never noticed, look at your shadow in mid-day strong sun and it will be bluer than the bright sunlit areas.
