LOL!!! I call in breaking away from the matrix of work and consumerism, all of it designed to supporting the top 1% Being self reliant instead of being dependent on the system, Yes this is weird to some but something I would like to try

Im off today and vaca next week. Then I have 1 week to finish up. Yesterday was rear springs on a muddy rusty dusty package car. It for sure reminded me it's time to go. I was sore after lifting around those heavy springs, There is no way to stay in the so called power zone, you twisting and turning and bending. I am fine today but hanging around to long I just know there will be a time I wont recover without medical intervention. That last statement is for others close to consider. It see so many limping around bad knees over the years- not that all had a choice but if you do please consider that.

Retired 2020. Not my Problem Anymore!
A few weeks before I retired I started feeling pain in my wrist and forearm. I thought “Oh hell no” not this close to leaving. A few weeks of retirement and all was better. If I would have stayed much longer you can bet there would have been a problem.
I was wondering if retired mechanics have dreams about UPS like retired drivers do? I hear a lot of retired drivers having nightmares about the place. I’ve been retired for 4 1/2 yrs and I have a dream occasionally. Mine haven‘t been nightmares. I had more nightmares when I worked there. Now most of my dreams are me being at work yet I know I’m retired and wondering why I’m there. The last dream I had I was at work and they were overloading my truck and I thought to myself “I’m retired I don’t have to put up with this
and I walked out without saying a word” I actually enjoy those kind of dreams.
