Preloader to seasonal driving ????

this is what we have going on- none are PVD's cause they don't want to use own car so the are seasonal package drivers. Does the PVD language apply?

Are they going out in a package car after their shift, like they would if they were a PVD? Just using a package car instead of their personal vehicle driving 4 or 5 hours. Or are they not even preloading and coming in as a seasonal package car driver with 8-10 hours of driving?

Neither, he is on call now to drive but not enough volume to work, while seasonal hire does his preload work- UPS labor says this is correct, I am advising him to file on the hours he is missing on preload if in fact there is a contract violation

The contract neither allows nor disallows a preloader to be a seasonal package car driver. It only allows them to be a PVD or helper.

If he signed up to be a seasonal driver and the Local allowed it, then he is SOL when he doesn't drive. He is a seasonal package car driver through peak, not a preloader.
