CNN runs a couple of channels 24/365. If they thought he had something interesting to say, they could give him a half hour show sometime. The fact that they haven't tells me everything I need to know.

The judge granted a temporary restraining order. The case isn't over yet. It was more about due process and 5th Amendment rights than 1st Amendment. Acosta can still get banned but the White House to go through a more complicated procedure first. Not much will happen until the case plays out in court.
Trump never has to call on Acosta so its still a net loss for CNN. If they sent someone else they would be able to ask questions.
