RIP President Jimmy Carter

I Doubt Bush would have done any better than Clinton. Thank God no more Clintons or Bushes!
Perot got 19% of the vote which pretty much everyone said would have mostly gone to Bush. Clinton more or less backed into the presidency. And probably would've lost in '96 if he hadn't listened to Republican campaign advisor Dick Morris.

clinton acted probably not much different than a republican decades before

Clinton's problems started when he put Hillary in charge of creating a new healthcare system. Caused Congress to be completely controlled by Republicans for the first time in 40 years.
im an expert on the bad things clinton did and him doing policies as a right winger

-NAFTA
-deregulated the banking system leading to 08 financial crisis
-deformed welfare primarily affecting single mothers
-deregulated media system leading to 5 corporations controlling 90% of all news
-expanded prison population

theres one more thing.

rage against the machine did a concert in front of the DNC in 2000 and by that time they were shouting the democrats sold out the working class. and they did.

And yet Democrats point to him today as an example of their superior policies.

Carter was in over his head. Some governors should not be presidents.
I do find it, humorous the media and the left are now acting like he was some sort of, benevolent loving leader. He was a complete maroon as president. I remember sitting in my grandpa’s truck waiting in gas lines. His “Good intentions” were disastrous

At that time Georgia was a backwater state and Carter had no clue about how DC worked.
I think the nice guy, honest southern boy projection after the mess with Nixon and the no personality Ford pardon, people thought he could give government what it hadn't had for a while.

Ford is a very much underrated President. He did lack charisma and got caught up in the Nixon backlash but was probably what the country needed at the time.
