President Trump

Probably not if you’re generally in denial of Trump’s involvement with Russia to begin with. But factually, yes.
Factual is that he and his company looked at opportunities in Russia, just as many companies from all over the world have. Speculation would be saying he sold out his country in doing so. So far the above fact is the only fact proven. All else is speculation. Is Trump lying a bit? He knows what the optics look like and how the Press will run with anything that might ruin him in the eyes of the public. And not just the Press.

Over the course of his campaign selling himself to the American people he stated repeatedly that he had no dealings with Russia in an effort to gain their support.

You don't need to worry about the stability of the US government. You need only to worry about the stability of the government of the country you're going to.

Depends on the definition of 'is'.

Dealings 'in' Russia are not the same thing as dealings 'with' Russia.

String him up anyway, semantics be damned!

Trump has lied over and over again since he signed the letter of intent, saying that he had no business dealings with Russia. Within the context of Russia trying to influence the election, and what’s happened since, it is a pretty big deal.

he said he had no interests in russia and he is correct in that he never owned anything in russia.

what really bothers me is there are so many US businesses who unlike Trump actually own assets in Russia. clearly these companies are undermining the US and surely they are secretly working against us on the guilt by business association rule being employed here. we need to immediately appoint a special prosecuter to investigate all those companies. :)

what am i in denial of? you smugly mock any complaints about a much seedier Hillary clinton and the clinton foundation constantly asking for the proof.

yet all you have on trump is an international businessman exploring the conducting of international business.

and he was and is correct. he owned nothing in russia he continues to own nothing in Russia.

Republicans should drag her out of bed in the middle of the night and lock her up if they’ve got evidence that a crime or crimes have been committed.

The Clinton Foundation is looking just fine on Charity Navigator. The Trump Foundation, not so much.

yet all you have on trump is an international businessman exploring the conducting of international business.

That’ll be for the justice system to decide. And it’s not looking good for Trump as investigators work their way up the organized crime chain.

When someone mentions organized crime, a Scotsman is the first thing that comes to mind......NOT!

Except when said Scotsman echoes mob/Gambino/Colombo/Tony Soprano slang by calling those who tell the truth about what he's been up to "rats", inferring that he's guilty of criminal activity and being given up to the law by a traitor.

Trump's use of the word 'rat' is not the first time he's referenced a popular mob term. He's previously talked about Cohen "flipping," a common practice in which prosecutors offer criminal defendants reduced punishment if they testify against another criminal.

"It's called flipping and it almost ought to be illegal," Trump said in an interview with Fox News in August.

there you go with that if they have evidence against Hillary line.

meanwhile you keep promoting the stories against trump that have no evidence to support them.

thanks for illustrating my point.

nice summary of old donny boy!

"Trump’s get-rich-quick schemes and seminars, including his books, were a con. His casinos were a con. His paid speeches on behalf of self-help gurus such as Tony Robbins were a con. Tales of his sexual prowess, spread by himself masquerading over the phone as a Trump spokesperson, were a con. His building projects were a con. Trump even had, Johnston writes, “imaginary employees.” Trump and his kleptocrats and grifters are today triumphant, and neither democratic norms or simply human decency will inhibit their pathological lust for more.

Perhaps it was inevitable that this poison would come to dominate our culture and our politics. It is the triumph of artifice. We live in an age when the fake, the fraudulent, the fabricated and the theatrical supplant reality. Trump’s manufactured persona was advertised on a reality television show. He sold this manufactured persona, as his ratings declined and he was in danger of being taken off the air, to become president. There are legions of agents, publicists, consultants, scriptwriters, celebrities, television and movie producers, wardrobe consultants, pollsters and television personalities dedicated to creating the myriad illusions that saturate the airwaves with Barnum-like lies. We can no longer tell the difference between illusion and reality; indeed when a version of reality is not verified on our electronic screens and by our reality manipulators it does not exist. The skillful creation of illusion and the manipulation of our emotional response, actions that profit the elites to our financial and political detriment, have seeped into religion, education, journalism, politics and culture. They solidify mob rule and magical thinking. Trump’s crass vulgarity, greed, unchecked hedonism and amorality, along with his worship of himself, are intrinsic to America, but his ascendancy, and the ascendancy of the character traits he personifies, represents cultural death."
