Actually I can think of a number of black Republicans who I would gladly vote for president. I don't care what their color is. Their policies affect my life, not their color.

You're painting Republicans with a broad brush, saying we're all racists. Not true. I pointed out I would gladly vote for a black candidate who shares my values and beliefs about how things should be run. If a Democrat candidate says he's for new social programs costing trillions, which we can't afford, I'm not going to vote for him no matter his color. If he says he's got ideas on how to rev up the economy that economists agree will work, and use the surplus to help the poor, I'll gladly listen. I have yet to see that from a Democrat.

its appears to be a protest against work restrictions. In that context the Work makes you free is poorly thought of because of its recent history but not otherwise out of context for the open Illinois protest.

there is no other connection to what the nazi's did other then the history of that phrase.

that phrase was also the title of a novel in the 1800's that told the tale of some laggerts who discovered the merits of being employed.
