So Black leaders are discussing in their parliament right now about changing their constitution so that they can confiscate White farms without compensation and you're turning this into a White racism thing? Numerous White farmers in rural areas have been murdered in recent years. A 70 year old White woman was beaten to death on a farm yesterday. And you bring up apartheid? They did this in Zimbabwe and that country was ruined.

That's exactly what's going on right now. And Mak, no defense of apartheid here, but when it ended it was agreed that whites could keep their property. Nelson Mandela pursued reconciliation. I'm seeing prominent Black SA leaders on video openly talking about killing Whites. The thing is there are a lot more Whites in SA than in Zimbabwe and they are heavily armed. This could turn into a real bloodbath.

Since there are relatively few Black farmers in South Africa could you cite your source on how many have been killed? Quite a few White ones have been murdered. And if you know of similar injustices happening to Blacks by their governments around the world please let us know so that we can condemn it too. Since you're more aware, what other countries are confiscating land without compensation currently? If Black farmers had their land taken without compensation in, say, Mississippi because the majority White government wanted to give it to Whites who have no experience farming would that be ok to you? They're in the majority after all. This was done in Zimbabwe, taking from experienced White farmers and given to Blacks who didn't know how to farm. The country experienced hyperinflation, it's economy was ruined, there were food shortages, and they've yet to recover. It's not that Blacks can't farm but in regions where they have no experience running a farm or a business you're courting disaster. I hope down the road we don't have to discuss a huge tragedy in South Africa.

This wasn't even on your radar until Tucker Carlson ran a show on FOX about the 'horror' of black on white racism in SA (lulz), and then Dear Leader tweeted it.
To your point, this is a very complicated situation, but it's nothing like what Trump is making it out to be.
Trump isn't tweeting about Uganda or Zimbabwe, he's tweeting about where the white people are.
Sad.
Actually this has been on my radar for awhile because of my interest in living overseas. Quite a few South Africans are on expat forums asking about requirements to move to those countries, possibility to buy land, etc. The killing of White farmers in remote areas has been going on for many years now. There are two main White groups in South Africa, those of Dutch descent, known as Afrikaners, and those of British descent. The Afrikaners make up the bulk of the farmers there. In fact the British fought two wars in South Africa against the Boers, the Dutch word for farmer. These are heavily armed people and I suspect if the South African government goes through with changing their constitution to allow confiscation it could get really nasty. The Afrikaners by the way outnumber the British South Africans and gained control of the government when South Africa got it's independence. They're the ones who instituted apartheid. So they're reaping what they sowed. But Mandela sought to unify the country through reconciliation and it was agreed that Whites would keep their property in exchange for ending apartheid and relinquishing power. After what happened in Zimbabwe I don't think the Afrikaners are going to go peacefully.
