President Donald Trump, whose ongoing dislike of “fake news” gives him credibility in this context, put the problem well during his speech this week in Charleston.
“You can’t pick one person and say, well, we don’t like what he’s been saying, so he’s out,”Trump noted. “I’d rather have fake news … than have anybody, including liberals, socialists, anything, than have anybody stopped, censored.”
“We gotta live with it,” the president added, “We believe in the right of Americans to speak their minds.”

I come to Current Events when I'm feeling bad about my self ... always feel better after reading the posts in here.
I don't take or consider Current Events serious ... it seems everyone treats it like entertainment with no concern for truth or judgment.
Everyone seems to think they are political pundits but just not good at it.
I don't mess with posters whose posts appear to have some judgment and sincerity in them.
BrownArmy comes to mind ... I don't razz him too much.
Itzy use to be that way but she seems to have got fed up and now posts like everyone else.
SoberUPS has been very thoughtful in his posts over the years but even he slid down to the bottom rather quickly once he started posting in CE.
