Via Rasmussen:
Americans consider blacks more likely to be racist than whites and Hispanics in this country.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) of American Adults think most black Americans are racist, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 15% consider most white Americans racist, while 18% say the same of most Hispanic Americans.

There is a huge ideological difference on this topic. Among conservative Americans, 49% consider most blacks racist, and only 12% see most whites that way. Among liberal voters, 27% see most white Americans as racist, and 21% say the same about black Americans.
From a partisan perspective, 49% of Republicans see most black Americans as racist, along with 36% of unaffiliated adults and 29% of Democrats.

Among black Americans, 31% think most blacks are racist, while 24% consider most whites racist and 15% view most Hispanics that way.

Among white adults, 10% think most white Americans are racist; 38% believe most blacks are racist, and 17% say most Hispanics are racist.

Never mind the fact that Lee is considered one of the greatest military minds in history and who opposed slavery (Lincoln offered Lee command of a Union army).

Via Washington Times:

The president of an NAACP branch in Florida has petitioned members of the Lee County Commission to take down a painting of Gen. Robert E. Lee, calling the former Confederate leader a historic symbol of racism.

Lee County was named after the general in 1887 — 22 years after the Civil War wrapped, the Fort Myers News-Press said.
But James Muwakkil, of the Lee County chapter of the NAACP, said the painting, which has hung in the county commission’s meeting room for years, divides the community.
“That painting is a symbol of racism. It’s a symbol of divisiveness, and it doesn’t unify Lee County. It divides Lee County,” Mr. Muwakkil said in a letter, the News-Press reported.

County Commissioner Larry Kiker said the commission would have to hold a public meeting on the issue.
“I would be looking for thoughtful conversation based upon the historical value and why it was put there to begin with, mainly because I don’t know too much about it,” he told the News-Press reported.

The painting hails back decades. The county’s commissioners in 1929 asked Virginia lawmakers to help them get a portrait of Lee, the paper reported.

The left generally believes that anyone who does not agree with them is by virtue of this fact a "right-wing bigot", because they conflate right wing opinions with bigotry. Right wing and bigot have for them become synonymous. But this not only misconstrues the real meaning of bigotry, it also demonstrates how bigoted they are in the real sense of the word. A bigot is actually defined as a person whose opinions cannot be changed with reference to evidence or solid argument; it denotes inflexibility of opinion and the manner in which an opinion is held, not the position of that opinion on the political spectrum. The Left currently demonstrates far more bigotry both in their intolerance of opinions different to their own (and their attempt to suppress the expression of such opinions), as they show the inflexibility and imperviousness to evidence that is the foundation of bigotry in the true sense of the word.

[h=2]CNN Anchor Lectures Guest That He Doesn’t See Racism Because Of His White “Privilege” And “Entitlement”…[/h]
Yes, we know, white people are evil.
Via Newsbusters:
CNN anchor Don Lemon lectured conservative radio host Ben Ferguson for being quick to pan President Obama’s Friday address on race, during Saturday’s 4 p.m. ET hour of Newsroom. [...]
He first told Ferguson, “you still have a certain entitlement as a white person that many people of color don’t have. You don’t see that?” Lemon then substituted “privilege” for “entitlement.”
“I should say a place of privilege, not necessarily a place of entitlement. And you’re filtering it through a place of privilege that you don’t understand, your privilege does not allow you to see certain biases and certain circumstances in this society,” Lemon informed Ferguson of his racial blind spot.
