How many countries have you been to again? Surely you saw the lack of abundance in those countries? My perspective comes from travel at home and overseas.

ive travelled too. ive seen poverty including in america. we have major homelessness in my city. so what.
That's how you get perspective. Seeing for yourself. What you need to learn is the world is very much changing. Technology will likely take your job. All the ranting and raving won't do you any good. Prepare for the reality of that world, not some fantasy where everyone does well and don't have to work hard.

And that's where you're wrong. I hung in to get a pension. I've traveled to a number of countries to investigate living there. I have all the camping gear I need to live fulltime on the road. Which is exactly what I will do after my dad passes. Meanwhile you go on and on about how unjust it all is. News flash, no one cares. You better start figuring out how you'll survive in your old age because the world will keep spinning no matter how much you protest and you'll be old a lot faster than you think.
