Reg/Temp G8?

Can a reg/temp submit a requested 8? I have heard both yes and no and was wondering if anyone has submitted them and been approved?

I believe only full timers can request for an 8 hour dispatch but I could be mistaken. So don't quote me on that.

In my local only full time can request an 8hr day.

All can request an 8 hr day. Most part time don't bother cause they want the hours. In my center , have a couple work on their vacation weeks. Due to making much less than if they work.

No contractual obligation to honor the 8 hr request does not necessarilly mean they wont.
