Just curious Why it "was a daily fight" ?

Sure there were times it wasn't the best and it there were days that really sucked. Clearly we all approached the job with certain expectations and misguided perceptions.

But daily fight? What was it?

examples:
Management? People you worked with? Your route? People on your route?

Wow that's great news. I thought the federal law said that employers don't have to pay a pension until age of 21.

I did also which was why I asked them that question. I guess UPS payed into their retirement account all of those years and now they are collecting.

Great news for me

I started working at 17 and I got all the credits for my part-time years. I chose to take the PT pension at age 62 so I was penalized 18% on it.

The PT retirees I know stayed PT their entire career and retired with 30 and out so there was no penalty.
