aint that the truth. could never understand why people stay longer or some never retire.

we had a guy that had amassed over $5 million in his total investments and was STILL afraid to retire.

he retired and 6 months later drank himself to death.

$3,500/mo is the lowest WCT pension I've heard of for a FT UPSer.

We can go with that. It is pretty easy to create a fake UPS life on Brown Cafe. Read a few posts and you would have no problem pretending that you work at UPS.

I not so sure about that. Maybe, but this company takes over your life. Especially after a few decades. It’s not just the language it’s the shared abuse. Not impossible to fake it superficialy but you get a feel for whose genuine after awhile. Just my opinion.

There are companies where if you opt out of the union, you get whatever insurance retirement program they offer. We need that.

Yeah, but in RTW states, that can't be a thing. But, they should not be able to cash a pension, you get 401k or whatever plan that company has and that's it.
