What was the real motive behind the invasion? Maybe you could bring up the ethnic majority of Russians in a couple of places but that doesn't explain the widespread attack. Putin never does anything without a reason even if it isn't widely reported in the west.

The President of Ukraine must be a symbol of courage for his people. I’ve seen multiple videos of him with troops on the street despite knowing he and his family are prime targets. He’s been trying to pump up the Ukrainian people to fight to help save their country.
