I bet I would have the same problem trying to cross into the US without a Passport. The borders are not open.
Do the ones crossing illegally have passports? That's a good indicator as to whether they have the absolute minimum qualification to even travel internationally.
Semantics. For three years the Biden administration has made no attempt to stop millions from coming in. And has fought efforts by Texas and AZ to stop the flow.

The Texas governor is the biggest problem shipping illegals all over the country using taxpayer Dollars. He should be arrested. No wonder illegals keep coming to Texas. A free ride.
Arrested? They are detained long enough to give them assistance and transport to the city of their choice. Not being checked for criminal backgrounds. Some on terrorist watch lists have been caught but no telling how many criminals and terrorists have been let in. Or those with serious health issues like tuberculosis.

The Federal government and NGO's have shipped a lot more around the country. The Texas governor has been targeting specific sanctuary cities which has got them all upset. Liberals think Texas should just take care of those millions and not trouble their cities. You want to be considered a sanctuary for illegal immigrants then put your money where your mouth is.

Why would it remind them of home? Illegals have come from over 180 countries. Many come from places with much milder climates and very different food.
Why are you against them remaining in Mexico until they get an asylum hearing? And you mentioned Abbott being arrested for using taxpayer money to transport them. Should Biden and Mayorkas be arrested for spending billions on them supporting them? They could have made them stay in Mexico you know. Oh, that wouldn't be fair to Mexico, huh? That's the point, if they had to stay in Mexico and likely their asylum claim would have been invalid then they wouldn't have come all this way. Biden threw the door open and is giving them support. And we're getting citizens robbed, raped, and even murdered by people who shouldn't be here. And your Democratic politicians are suddenly talking tougher about immigration. Election year conversion. Bet they suddenly see it differently if they're reelected.
