School schedule/preload pt sup

any of you guys have any luck with ups working around your school schedule? Got hired as preload pt supervisor and one day conflicts with my school schedule for 3 hours

Haha yeah finishing my last year for school so just a job. I've worked jobs like that before and wasn't the worst

I wouldn't even let one of my guys take a day off for school, never mind them letting a sup do it. Sorry, but theres no way they're going to work around it.

I had a pt sup who quit because they wouldn't let him have 1 day off a week for his army duties. So slim chance guy.

We've had a few PT supes that had class during the week. My management team always worked with them. Even with some hourlys

I think that is illegal.
For military he should get that off or ups gets fined.

It is illegal. If one of my guys hands me orders I can't say boo.

If he has an 8 Am it could conflict. I had a class with our preload sup at 11 and he struggled to make it everyday because of all the post sort stuff.
