Very odd, the thread suddenly being executed? Serious questions there over coverage for the union member. The way I read the law, those under a negotiated work agreement (CBA) are not bound by the state law.

As long as the days negotiated can be used in the same manner. We get three sick days here, personal days must be requested two to four weeks in advance, therefore do not meet the state law requirements, so we get two additional days from the state.
