They aren't reporting on the future. They are reporting on their fiscal quarter. What part of that don't you understand?

Moreluck, FDX fiscal year BEGINS June 1st. They just finished their 2nd quarter on November 30th, 2016 and those results are what were reported on.

They just reported Q2 fiscal year 2017 which is Sept to Nov 2016.

I actually own some fed ex stock. It's a way of hedging my UPS career in case something bad happens.
