Stupid arguments about the Ground business model

So they're not tyrants and warlords when they claim it's for a god? So clueless, SMH.
Simply using "god" and the twisted religious values it's based on as an excuse to slaughter innocent people. Simply points to the long established and very bloody history that has accompanied religions over the centuries.

Nope. In their twisted mentality they believe that they're doing "God's work" and therefore justifies their actions. And many ancient texts contain accounts of the many religious wars that took place in their time.

Um, the Romans were an ethnic group. Christianity was a civilizing force as a religious movement. Safe to say that the Roman Empire provided a structure throughout Europe that enabled the spread of Christianity.
The romans were spreading 'civilization' before Christ was born. Get a clue, buy a vowel or something!

"Your religion is stupid because I don't like the rules."

The problem with that is that his tomb was unsealed after 3 days and his body was gone despite there being no motive nor any opportunity for anyone to remove his body.
You believe everything you read. The 'Jesus story' must have been on FOX.

Maybe his mother realized he was only in a coma and came back when it was safe. That is more likely than rising from the dead.

Imagine being so morally bankrupt that you think the wrong side of an argument is that we shouldn't kill babies.
God can condemn billions to hell because they never heard of baptism, but he is shocked by abortion????? I kind of doubt it.

The Romans certainly laid a framework. But you'll have to argue with historians about the Judeo-Christian influence on law in both Europe and the U.S. You're letting your liberal hatred of Christianity get in the way of understanding what has long been established. It's just history. I'm not trying to tell you what to believe. But the real danger these days is from those who want to stamp out all references to what went on before.

Today anybody can call themselves a "Christian" but it doesn't mean a thing because these days, a Christian affiliation is on about the same level as belonging to any other fraternal organization. It's "Jesus Light" A denominational affiliation that stands for nothing and now seeks to use the hammer of U.S. rule of law in order for it to have any impact on American society and to conform the American public to a set of behavioral rules that would give the Christian establishment and hierarchy the control over peoples lives they seek because it makes them feel powerful and secure.

I would have argued against this vehemently in 2019. Sadly, the events of 2020 proved this to be completely true.

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Matt 16:24.

This is the mark of a true Christian.

Those you are referring to are called 'false prophets'.

What has that got to do with the fact that Judeo-Christian traditions had a huge impact on Western Civilization and how we administer law today?

Aren't Judeo-Christian traditions a leading driver behind the effort to overturn Roe vs. Wade and the effort to stop the legalization of same sex marriages?

Sanctity of human life is a fundamental precept of the Judeo-Christian tradition that opposes abortion, so in that sense you would be correct.
Marriage is a concept with Judeo-Christian religious roots, and defense of that concept is natural. Any group that wishes to imitate that institution needs to find their own unique moniker, such as Civil Union, and there would be diminished opposition.

The same people who claim to be for the sanctity of life are the same ones who scream oppression when they have to put a mask on to go into Burger King during a pandemic.
