Supervisors now have a weekly quota on warning letters?

Our supervisor just informed us as of today there is now a weekly quota for warning letters they issue to drivers.

Is anyone else’s center doing this?

My sup was asking a person on their way out (retirement) if he could just give them a warning letter to hit his weekly quota.o_O

Well luckily we have a union and warning letters are practically meaningless.

I haven't heard of such a thing, but that's funny... Lol.

If they do that here, we'll end up with a weekly quota for grievances.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
Another fake thread, ups is cutting jobs and cost, they arent paying the extra money to give out warning letters, look at the stock price

Warning letters aren’t meaningless.

Always file a grievance to protest every one.

If you don’t…. They will stand, as the first step of discipline.
Not in the West. Automatically protested and we can't take a warning letter to panel either.

But you're right they are not meaningless and if your contract says you can grieve them you absolutely should everytime.

Our warning letters are automatically protected by the local but I have grieved to have one rescinded successfully anyways

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Do you think you could wait until there's a full page of somewhat relevant posts before you completely derail the thread? SMH

He's been swinging wild for about a 6 months now. The decline in posts is probably to blame. Also He's retired and the only form of entertainment he has now is politics and this place. ;)
