Taking Care Of Business.....Off the Clock?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Depends on if I am on break or not when I have to go.
I like to take my time when I go drop a bomb....sometimes that could be 1/2 an hour if I am reading an interesting magazine...so no, that's not going to be on company time but a leak here and there... Hell yes on company time... Does mgt punch out for their dozen smoke breaks or running to 7-11 for something.... No. I really don't know why we still have to justify this after all these years....this is something that should be made very clear from the top of the teamsters that they aren't going to put up with...it's a basic right to go to the bathroom and there isn't one company in this country that would have you punch out except fing ups.!!! Why isnt Hoffa doing something about it... It's not the BA's problem and their valuable time shouldn't be used fighting about members going to the bathroom on company time... Makes me so mad that this has to be a issue...

I can count on one hand the number of times I have "dropped a deuce" while working. That is something that I prefer to do from the comfort of my own home.

While I am with you in that I would prefer to go at home, some of us have medical issues that pretty much make it not an option of waiting.

Did you ask your supervisor whether he/she or the office staff punch out to drop a deuce?
I asked mine when being questioned about down time in my day. He responded with "I'm salary, it doesn't matter." So I asked if he stayed later to cover his breaks. I was then told we were discussing discrepancies in my timecard. Not his. It was a good time.
