Why are you so hung up and Sandy Pope? She is not involved in any issues going on now. And Ken P is not involved in this except for leading TDU like he's always done. Ken P wasn't at the negotiating table. Ken P has not approved of this handshake deal.
You seem to be dodging the issues of today. The contract, the contract and the contract. Keep on talking about Pope and Paff. Keep trying to get the topic off of the contract. Keep cheerleading for the Old Guard. I have a feeling this will have a major, major impact on the future leadership of our union.

Thank god Sandy or Ken had nothing to do with this contract. This issue is for Teamsters, so Ken has ZERO say in this agreement. Nobody needs his approval. Well maybe you do.
You said you voted for Pope and you are an obvious Hoffa/Hall "the old guard" hater. So I wanted to know how you ignored her vicious spending of her locals money while losing members before you voted for her. She was supposed to be the next Carey "dead guard"? As far as the contract, I said numerous times that I dig what I'm hearing. So far it's a yes vote. How can people even make an assumption that we were sold out with these monetary figures?

Read brown cafe. I've been informing members with zero spin since day one. I posted the actual figures in other posts. TDU has a "hate the current" agenda to satisfy. When it comes down to it, read your contract and assimilate for yourself to make an educated decision. TDU knows that with 250,000 people at UPS, not everyone can be happy with all aspects of a contract. This is TDU fuel. As for TDU themselves, I don't hate them because they give information, albeit wrong information initially to get a jump on it. I have a serious problem with their leadership. We voted on a Teamster president and he won. TDUers do not get that choice in Ken P. Paff actually gives true socialist a bad name. His form of socialism is that for communism.
