Why would Cruz be aware that this woman is a known porn actress by reviewing an ad he had nothing to do with producing? You're assuming that Cruz can recognize a woman as having been in porn out of hundreds of thousands of women who have appeared in porn. Like he is a porn expert. If Cruz reviewed this ad, all he saw was a woman utter a sentence.
And why can't someone who does or has done porn be conservative? Conservative politics isn't limited to Christian social values. It can be about economic ideology or about limited government. She can hold these beliefs and as a result support Cruz. Fact is though is that she wasn't told which candidate the ad was being made for months ago, just that it was for a Republican.
I'm a die hard conservative libertarian, a Cruz supporter. Yet one of my favorite musical artists is Marilyn Manson. I'm also a big supporter of porn.

The candidates aren't responsible for vetting every actor in ads. You can blame their campaign staffs and production companies. They should of known. These candidates barely sleep as it is and you expect Cruz to research the backgrounds of an actress among 10 in one ad? That doesn't make any sense.
