As much as I may like or dislike any employer, I do not work for free. That’s placing a value of zero on yourself.

Let's be honest, if I have tickets to a ballgame that starts at 7:15 and I work off the clock to make sure my ass is in my seat, I'll do it and have. I valued my ass in my seat more than anything Fedex paid me. It all depends with where value is placed, sliding scale.
I tried to be the final judge of value.

I don’t know or see anyone in my station doing this. Anything they do is compensated. If management is pressuring employees to do something for nothing, contact HR.

I was just trying to make a point about the mentality of people who think they have a good work ethic and that everyone else is lazy. But yes, I am a UPSer. I wander over here every now and again.
