The police were lucky this was just some mentally ill 18 year old with that rifle or it probably wouldn’t of been grazing wounds.

Go watch Christchurch, he killed far more people and it was over in minutes once he started. It’ll give you people a comprehension of how fast a rifle can dispatch people cowering for their lives in a room.

It’s a horrible situation, hell I was mad at police and blinded by the fact such a horrible thing happened to children. I wanted to blame police to.

The fact is, they could have attacked in 3 minutes, they’re commander made them wait. This came out yesterday. So instead they listened to the shots. Not all the children were killed at the same time. They had rifles, body armor and shields, the door was unlocked, but they were TOLD to stand down.

Saw this on tv yesterday. Instead of the truth upfront from the Uvalde police we're slowly getting the truth drip drip drip. They are seriously trying to cover their asses.

Would it take you 3 minutes to kill 20 people with a rifle in a classroom? It probably take me 1-2 at most.
Sit here for a minute or two and just think about how long that is when it comes to firing a rifle into a close quarters group of people. It’s a ing eternity, you’d have time to pick your shots on them.

Leaders have to make these tough calls when it comes to what will limit the human tragedy and what will end the situation.
I hope the man can sleep at night knowing he wasn’t the psycho who did this non sense, it isn’t his fault or the polices fault. I’m sure they did what they thought was best in the situation to keep more people from dying to this senseless violence.

Lol. You know, my first thought was he killed them immediately, but I don’t think that’s been proven one way or another. I will say if I had to guess, I would say he killed them right away. It’s probably the slow drip of info that’s obfuscating the truth.

Fact is when the specialists arrived they went in. The local police waited for them. As children were being shot some children were calling 911. I was told the police didn't have shields but video shows they clearly did. They may not have been able to save them all but if they had acted quickly they may have saved most. When the killer started shooting kids he would have been distracted enough for them to open the door and shoot him. Even if they had failed miserably they should've tried. Children were already dead when others were calling 911. That's been reported numerous times.

9 mm or .45 pistol isn’t to bad indoors. It’s loud, but with your adrenaline goin’ it’s the last thing you notice. I have fired handguns indoors, no hearing protection. The muzzle blast is minimal.
