Why was Bobby Kennedy’s son getting involved in the state’s 2024 primary fight?

They may have got their answer on Thursday when Neil Levesque of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics announced via Twitter that Kennedy will be the featured speaker at an Institute event next month.

“This platform is the premier stop for prospective presidential candidates,” Levesque noted.

Ok, but I don't see it a given that Trump gets the nod. Biden looks right now to be the guy.

"Trump leading most polls"

And let us not forget that many people do not admit that they'll be voting for the God Emperor, who shall not be forsaken. :)
Who are they? seems most are pretty upfront about it and if it’s supposedly a cult, why would they not be?

You can't say the Republican guy leading now will get the nominee and be elected.

  • Late winter 2015: Jeb Bush led in polls. Faded and Trump became the nominee.
  • Late winter 2011: Mitt Romney led and became candidate but lost in general election.
  • Late winter 2007: Muddy picture with Edwards, Giuliani, McCain and Romney all jockeying. McCain eventual GOP nominee who lost.
  • Spring 1999: Bush 43 was ahead in polls. Got the nomination in 2000 and won.
  • Spring 1995: Bob Dole was well ahead in the polls, became nominee but lost in general election.

And President Trump is not helping his own cause attacking other politicians that just won elections decisively.

Jeb, Edwards, and Giuliani had not been previously elected President. None of them were the entrenched de-facto leaders of their political parties. Would the Republican base actually deny Trump a shot at a second Presidential term next year? Doubt it.

Edwards was also on the Democratic side.

It's worth noting that many of the candidates he backed in the Mid Terms went down in flames such as ** coff** Kari lake ** coff**

My bad.

All I'm saying is be careful in crowning DeSantis the Republican 2024 nominee and slam dunk winner.
