A lotta voters just aren't gonna go for Orange Mussolini at this point. And while Haley seems great as a person she's a little too wishy washy. Pompeo is weird CIA guy and Youngkin is just Virginia guy for most people.

The guys a West Point grad. Former congressman, former CIA director and former Secretary of State. I like him. But I don’t think he has a chance of getting nominated.
In case you haven’t noticed, they all lie. The trick is picking the one that lies the least.
Youngkin has a huge approval rating in a blue state. He's definitely VP material. Pompeo was a great Secretary of State. George H.W. Bush was a CIA director too. You may be right about Trump and Haley. Chris Sununu may be a viable candidate. But DeSantis looks to be the frontrunner other than Trump.

If Desantis doesnt run Trump will easily get the nomination.
If Desantis DOES run Trump will not get the nomination and the Implosion will be spectacular. I can already see Trump forming an independent third party and his vocal supporters such as Boobert,Marjorie Three Toes waging a scorched earth policy towards Desantis.
This will affect not only hand the presidency to the Dems but Senate ,Congressional and Gubernatorial elections as well will be lost by the GOP going forward.
The MAGA crowd love to talk of an impending 'Civil War" and they are correct,but it will be waged within the GOP

I think it will only hurt him more. He’s not getting nominated. He’s already hurt his chances by attacking DeSantis, that turned a lot of people off. The democrat echo chamber is not tuned to the average GOP or independent voter.
Jimmy Carter comes to mind. Maybe not 18 months out. Why does it have to be all or nothing at this point? We'll start seeing debates in August.
