They were vetted? Venezuela turned out its prisons. We have Venezuelan gangs operating here now. And it's not legal immigration to cross over the border and ask for asylum. Nothing close to our legal immigration system. And it would be impossible to check records at the border. They are letting in men who have committed rape and murder here. And no time in our history have we let more than ten million people into the country in less than four years. Nowhere close.

Economic immigration is much different than fleeing war zones. If everyone is so oppressed in over 160 countries then why are most of their citizens staying home rather than coming here? We have a legal immigration system that takes in close to a million people a year. Why are you opposed to people doing it the right way, who are thoroughly checked out to keep criminals and terrorists from entering? And in no time in our past have so many entered the country and most of them don't have more than manual labor skills or are able to speak English. We're spending billions monthly to keep them afloat.
