Yeah, I don’t think they’re gonna come out and vote because of that this year because like I said, most of the people are voting in their state. And the other ones have already voted and are perfectly fine with what they voted for. Pretending Trump was going to have a national abortion ban just didn’t move the needle.

Here’s a compromise. If you don’t want an abortion, don’t get one. Or if you truly feel that strongly then stand behind your beliefs and fight for no abortions at all. Look at the second amendment, there’s not much compromise on that. Republicans aren’t banning semi automatics as a “compromise”;
But the fact is, it’s not compromise, it’s that throughout history we slowly get more progressive. Conservatives aren’t compromising, they just know the people are more progressive than they used to be, even conservatives

Abortion rights are in the top 2 of 3 issues that people say they care about. So I guess we will find out next week how they really feel.

The very fact we’re putting gun rights above “murdering babies” says everything to me. If you’re willing to compromise on one but not the other. Maybe we should just let the woman decides what she does with her body and have the government stay out of it

How so? I’d argue conservatives want governments in people’s lives more than I do. You can bring up the vaccine topic, but after that what are you talking about?
Unless you mean social safety nets or not wanting private insurance. Otherwise I’m against the government telling me what I can and can’t put in my own body, I don’t agree with the death penalty and I’m against the government telling a woman telling her what she can do with her body. What else am I missing?
It's not the government. It's the voters in each state telling their representatives what they want. If a state's position on abortion isn't to your liking then there are other states to choose from. It's obvious that everyone must bend to what the Left wants to make the Left happy. Which is why the Right has gained ground. And why the Left is importing millions of future voters. You'll try to force your views on everyone with newcomers who are beholden to you.
