It is not unhealthy for you lol. It’s glucose and fructose.

Google what your brain runs on. Google what your cells run on

If you eat more of it than your body burns, you will gain weight. Same with every other food on earth. But there is nothing wrong with glucose and fructose
There is something very wrong with high fructose corn syrup and how it's processed in our bodies.

You do know that a third of all American adults are now either diabetic or pre-diabetic? All the carbs in the standard American diet wear down the pancreases' ability to create insulin to remove excess sugar. Of course you don't care, you just want to prevent a former Democrat from being listened to. He's just saying what nutritionists and doctors have been saying for years now. And there's plenty of other ingredients to be leery of in processed foods. We have much, much higher rates of cancer than we did decades ago. Alzheimer's has spread exponentially. Most everything can be traced back to what we eat and drink.
Asian countries have been eating nothing but carbs for thousands of years. Carbs are not the problem. High fat is the problem, that is what causes diabetes and causes your cells to be clogged up and prevent insulin.

People are not getting fat and diabetes from eating rice and fruit lol.

No, fat is good for you. The French eat a high fat diet and are on average much thinner than Americans. Asians who have switched over.to highly processed foods that are overloaded with carbs and seed oils have experienced a jump in obesity, heart disease, and diabetes also. It's not the traditional diet that was the problem, it's the combination of the above that's the problem.

Seed oils are fats. Seed oil doesn’t matter, it’s the fat.

Asians had no problems with their weight until they started with all the fat, aka processed foods aka OIL

again, every cell in your body runs on glucose. Your brain runs on glucose. Carbs are not the problem

There’s a reason you’re not seeing a majority of Olympic athletes doing low carb diets

Of course that means someone has to do the investigating and prosecuting; another game of it’s own lol
That’s a very good point lol.

There should be a third party system set up that is not touched by either side of the political aisle that is in charge of this stuff. I don’t know how that would work being set up though

Olympic athletes burn off the excess. Seed oils cause inflammation. That leads to a buildup of plaque in your arteries. For example Monsanto got the Indian government to push seed oils for cooking in place of the traditional coconut oil used. India saw a huge spike in heart disease and diabetes.

Sorry, the idea that fats make you fat is outdated and disproven. A lot of people have had success switching to a low carb diet that causes the body to become fat oriented for energy. Draws.down the fat stores as well as uses the fat in meats. I've done it myself.

Think about what you’re saying, that Fat doesn’t make you fat, But carbs make you fat…

every cell in your body and your brain runs on glucose

So you’re saying your body is going to go through the more inefficient route of converting fat into glucose and converting carbs into fat. Why? Lol that makes zero sense

The body runs the path of least resistance. It’s going to go the easier route of breaking carbs into glucose to fuel your brain and feed your cells, and use fat to store as body fat

You guys are much smarter than myself on the diet talks… curious question. How beneficial is a carnivore diet? I’ve known people that have had positive comments for the short term, but what about long term ?

Terrible long term. For multiple reasons

Maybe the biggest one is lack of fiber. 95% of Americans don’t get enough fiber, and fiber is super important for your body. It is also important for your mind and mood, because of the microbiomes in your gut. Research is showing very interesting things about how poor gut health can effect your mental health

Carbs are also your main source of fuel. Like I said, there’s a reason the vast vast majority of athletes aren’t doing low carb diets. And there’s a reason you’ll see most people doing low carb diets pounding down coffee and energy drinks, which will then effect your sleep quality, which will then cause you to need more caffeine, which causes this crappy cycle which also affects your body and mental health
