The big bang theory

The ark story is obviously not meant to be literal. There’s no worldly boat that could hold every species on the planet. Why would the remains of an old boat change that?
The bible says one of every "kind", not one of every species.

Theres freshwater crocodiles and saltwater crocodiles. I bet they share ancestry with a crocodile.

Oh yes..there are so many different kinds of animals in existence that it is unreasonable to believe that all of them were able to be placed on the Ark. Huge numbers of animals are assumed to be required to be in the Ark.
If science can identify 210,000 different birds, then you would assume that two of each had to be placed in the Ark.
Not so. The Bible states that two of every “kind” (min) of unclean animal and seven of every “kind” (min) of clean animal went into the Ark.
The animals were grouped according to their “families” (mispahah). This would not demand two of every species but two of each family (genus) of animals. Plenty of room given the measurements of the Ark.

I think it's funny that you say the Ark couldn't have been big enough to house all of the animals in the world.
You have all of the animals in the world including man evolving from a one-celled amoeba that resulted from some chance collision of molecules that appeared out of nothing.
If you can get all of creation from an amoeba in a swamp that appeared from nothing, you shouldn’t have trouble accepting that all of the animal creation necessary for the production for animal life could fit in the Ark.
Beat me to it

So the flood never happened?
There's evidence that the narrow isthmus that separates Turkey from Europe was once a narrow strip of land that gave way, causing the Mediterranean to flood what is now the Black Sea. Ruins have been found on the Black Sea floor. Also there's been new discoveries in Greenland in just the last couple of years of two huge meteor or comet strikes that occurred some time about 11,500 to 12,800 years ago. Glaciers that had been retreating from the Ice Age rapidly built up again. And when the earth recovered there was massive flooding as those massive glaciers rapidly melted. The Sumerians had a story about an earth wide flood called the Epic of Gilgamesh. Abraham at one time lived in the Sumerian city of Ur. By the way I'm sure you're aware of the giant mammals that live in Africa. North America used to have many giant animal species. Scientists have determined they all died off in a relatively short period of time and blamed it on humans making their way from Asia. Now it's been realized that they all died off about the time of the Greenland meteor strikes. As well as evidence of massive flooding has been found in the Columbia River Gorge. Why do you think we have observatories watching our skies so intently? We pass through a meteor belt twice a year which contains meteors large enough to destroy civilization and possibly kill all of us. And plenty of smaller ones that can take out whole cities. There was one that struck Siberia in if I remember right in 1905 or about that would've killed millions in a populated area. The thing is we don't know the exact nature of God but we have mythology from many civilizations that give us clues. If we believe in God we must take it on faith that it's true. Genesis 6 talks about the sons of God breeding with the daughters of men. Their offspring were giants called the Nephilim. Do we believe that or not? If not then what's to be believed?

Why is your creator the correct one?
Name one creature, just one, that didn’t receive its existence (created) from something that existed prior. Follow any living thing back up the chain until you get to something that wasn’t created. In order for that something to exist, without receiving creation from anywhere else, it logically has to be the source of creation. Since intelligence exists, that Creator must be intelligent. I (we) call that Creator, God.

Where did your creator come from?
Existence is a gift bestowed by the Creator. He is the Source of existence, not a recipient of it.

Why did he create us?
Love requires a recipient, also.

Why did he choose to put suffering onto us?
He allows us to suffer the consequences of our disobedience. Just as a stone leaves ripples on the water, so too does our disobedience.
I don’t give credits to creators I have no proof of.
These are a lot of Bible answers, not factual ones. Your Bible isn’t facts and facts don’t care about your religion.

You don't know what is fact or fiction. Could be the Bible is what men with primitive technology came up with to explain the world around them. Life is an ever learning exercise. We don't have all the answers and likely never will.

Giants in what way?The word “giants” (KJV), means “to fall upon as an oppressor.” “Giants” does not mean big in the sense we use the word.
Sons of God were righteous men who worshiped and walked with God. If you look at where they came from , it was the linage of Seth, not Cain.
They married ungodly, unbelieving women (the daughters of men)Those in authority ( giants of Godliness) before the flood that should have but did not discourage ungodly conduct, actually advanced wickedness.(became giants of ungodliness)
What kind of children is produced when the sons of God marry the daughters of men? The kind that will not walk with God because of the influence of the unrighteous mate.
The nephilim were notable men of the pre-flood world who, rather than leading their generation in godly behavior, contributed to its moral downfall. In spite of their prominence or size, their wickedness, violence, and corrupt behavior led to their ultimate destruction in the flood. They were not monsters, but great men who were also ultimately brought down.

And what you just said is your, and others, interpretation of Genesis 6 and other verses. It isn't told to us as you put it but it satisfies in your mind what it must be. Everyone has heard of Goliath. Not everyone knows Goliath came from a family of giants, had brothers as big as him. Not everyone knows in North America many tribes had an oral history of fair skinned giants who were here before them. Not everyone knows that thousands of mounds that were constructed by an ancient civilization contained thousands of skeletons of a giant race ranging from 7 ft to over 11 ft. They had copper smithing and other skills the Native Americans we know of today didn't have. Thousands of newspaper articles were written about excavating these skeletons in the 1700's to early 1900's. Lincoln even spoke of them. And North America wasn't the only area with these ancient giants. I can understand why there's a desire to quash any narrative but our own. And we do disservice to ourselves doing so.

Yes, God of the Gaps, I’m familiar with it and that’s what I believe the silly jew god is.

What haven’t you seen the pictures of the Ark? That ark exists and is in the mountains of turkey my good man.
Genesis
This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.

You reject it because the Bible is strongly against homosexuality. All I can say on that is with our advanced technology we haven't found a gay gene yet. If we do, and it's proven that it's as natural as heterosexuality, I'll say it's not just to condemn what can't be helped. Until then I'll believe it's a sin, a choice made. And as a Christian I can't hate you for the sins you're caught up in. We all sin. How we handle that determines our salvation. If I decide one day I don't believe anything much, I'll still believe procreation is natural, and anything that doesn't lead to procreation is unnatural. But I'm not going to beat up anyone who feels differently as long as they don't physically force themselves on others, or touch children.
