Nah, the APA and AMA have been taken over by people who cannot, themselves, distinguish between fantasy and reality. Thank goodness some people still employ their own faculties to determine what reality is rather than simply accept complete gibberish from people who claim to have authority.

I understand a ringer in team sports. Generally, almost exclusively a ringer would be a person in contact with the ball enough to change the outcome of a game, if not why have a ringer?

In individual competition a ringer is not possible.
An illegal participant is however, and a legal participant is always excluded for the illegal, or illegally disadvantaged, by definition.

It is not difficult until politics are injected, anyone that has been involved with organized athletics understands politics and favoritism is involved with legal participants, why add another sex to the mix?

God bless the parents that have daughters that love to play sports, this country (vocal, destructive part) has lost it's mind.

The daughters seem not to care. Good for them.
