The end of girl’s sports

Sounds like she hasn't competed against many/any trans women. It's all feel-good woke nonsense unless/until you're beaten up on the field by a trans woman who has the relative body composition of Mr T. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Trans women don't have to be excluded at all. They should just play on mens' teams as hormone therapy does very little to level the playing field for cis women when transgender women compete in womens' sports.
I understand you swallow Ben Shapiro’s obsession with trans women but the youth don’t care. They expect women to compete with women and include trans women in that category.

The youth who haven't yet experienced getting their asses kicked on the field by "women" with the bodies and physical power of men.

Easy to say you support it. Not so easy to actually live it and lose a state championship or school record to it.

If a trans athlete puts up with everything she’s going to put up with along the way and is there at the end to hoist the first place trophy at the end of it all, my hat’s off to her.

"The comments here highlight the fundamental facts that the authors elide. Why must public expressions of trans rights always stomp all over the biological reality of cis gender women? Why can’t we support trans women without pretending they are the same? It’s the same old story. The person with the penis demands the advantageous deal, and the population with vaginas are expected to kindly acquiesce. We vagina-ed females fought for our sports. Penis-sporting, testosterone laden people can be women. But stealing trophies and limelight from cis women because trans women gained strength and power in puberty is obviously unfair. Why can’t we say it?"

"Women born women can never fairly compete with trans people. You cannot change your DNA. Even with the testosterone levels being reduced, it is still higher than a natural women (4 times higher than a natural woman). We have different organizations for a reason (men, women, special, para) so why not have another one so that everyone can compete openly and fairly? I don't think every trans person will be automatically successful in sports but there are finite differences that women cannot make up. Period."

"I'm sorry, but this has become utterly ridiculous. With all due respect to trans rights, people who were born male should NOT be allowed to compete against people who were born female. This is transparently, blatantly obvious, and a sign of deep confusion on the parts of those arguing in favor of such a paradigm. Please explain to me how this is any different than a heavy-weight boxer "identifying" as a light-weight and wanting to compete in that class? I'm an educated, left-leaning, open-minded dude. But this absurdity on the left is no different in my mind to the absurdity of Q-anon on the right. Puhlease!"

"I've always supported LGBTQ. However, I will NEVER support transgenders in competitive sports; not that women are invading men's sports. It has taken a lifetime to get women athletes the support and recognition they need. Title IX was created for that purpose. Before that, women were relegated to the likes of field hockey. I've no problem with a man feeling like a woman and changing his sex. Or a woman becoming a man, for that matter. But a biological man should NEVER be allowed to participate competitively as they are biologically male with the testosterone and muscle mass that, even with estrogen shots, never 'go away.'"

"It's good that you're willing to consider this an issue with two sides, when some of the "woke" crowd insist there must be no debate because "Trans Women Are Women!!!" (chanted repeatedly, or written with "clap" emojis). But given that polls show overwhelming opinion in favor of grouping sports by biological sex, not "gender identity" (since the physical bodies are a quite important part of sports), it's mysterious that activists want this to be the hill they die on."

Having a tough life as a trans woman doesn't make it morally acceptable for you to go beat up on women who were born as women out on the athletic field.

it’s an easy call to make. It will be an inconvenience, possibly a major one for a very small number of people in the country. It will be a “page 1” story in several towns and amount to very little.

My youngest is in college right now. She played soccer from middle school through HS. I showed her the article I posted here earlier today and asked her what she thought of it as a former athlete. Sighhhh. View attachment 325986

That's a propaganda driven non-response. Literally no one thinks it's a good idea for men to compete against women. Of course people are people and have rights. No one is claiming they don't. How does that make it ok for a man to compete in women's sports? The best that people who "aren't against" it can come up with is "it's not a big deal" or "it won't affect that many people".

The real question is, if a man who feels like he is actually a woman, or just saying he does, can compete in women's sports, why can't a man who just claims to be a man compete in women's sports? What is the real difference? There is none. Where's equal protection under the law there?

Can you explain to me why you believe we should have separate men and womens sports leagues?

I’d say it comes down to the purpose of sports. Youth sports are all about team building, developing leadership skills, overcoming adversary etc. The stakes are low. Including tolerance in lessons learned makes sense to me. Throwing a fit to exclude an incredibly small minority for the sake of a manufactured ideal of fairness runs counter to the point of youth sports. Some people are better athletes than others, it’s ok to not be the most physically gifted player on the field, it’s not ok to cry about how that’s unfair.

Then what's the argument for having separate girls and boys leagues? Saying it's not a big deal because it's a small minority doesn't address the reality of the situation. Fairness is not a manufactured ideal. Non-sociopaths have an inherent concept of fair play. Where people draw certain lines may vary from person to person. But if you want to argue that fairness is a made up concept, thus non-applicable, then the same argument would apply to transgenderism.

Your are arguing in defense of tranny boys being allowed to play with girls, and totally ignoring the stupidity of a child choosing their gender, and the child abuse of a parent that allows that.

Liberalism is really a disgusting and evil ideology.

If I played one on one against Lebron it wouldn’t be “fair” he would beat me senseless. The fact that we were both born with a penis wouldn’t make the matchup any more fair. Fairness is arbitrary.
