I agree there. But part of the negotiation would be that we won't be forced to compromise our beliefs while allowing them to pursue what they believe is right. This is the interplay between conservative and liberal within a society. At some point that process has been hijacked, and the ones who are meant to maintain the stability of our society are being marginalized.

I agree that some people should be able to experiment, as it were. How else is society to advance? Both sides simply need to understand and accept the role that the other side plays within society, and then come to an understanding that, within the larger context, we are all on the same side.

My youngest is in college right now. She played soccer from middle school through HS. I showed her the article I posted here earlier today and asked her what she thought of it as a former athlete. Sighhhh.

Sounds about right. Old people care a lot about excluding trans people. Young people don’t see the big deal.
Sounds like she hasn't competed against many/any trans women. It's all feel-good woke nonsense unless/until you're beaten up on the field by a trans woman who has the relative body composition of Mr T. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Trans women don't have to be excluded at all. They should just play on mens' teams as hormone therapy does very little to level the playing field for cis women when transgender women compete in womens' sports.
