Show me the lyrics that make it so.Excellent. All has been acknowledged by the left in this thread and we're simply back to my original point.
I asked in post #107 of this, the "The Lauren Boebert Saying Crazy Things Thread" if anything in this tweet is actually crazy. In post #108 you said "Yes it is." And then in post #110 you said "Who said anything was a second national anthem?" And now here we are. You're even calling it the Black National Anthem.

I understand why you're saying that but it's manifestly not true.
He might be a tad bit hyperbolic.
Making a point of singing it alongside our nation's recognized National Anthem and blacks saying it's the "Black National Anthem" is inherently divisive. Nothing about that situation says we are all Americans first. You bring up "wokeness." Wokeness makes it a point, and a historically inaccurate one, that the United States was founded not in 1776, but in 1619, and was based on slavery. Everything we're seeing now, including singing the "Black National Anthem" at the Super Bowl, is about emphasizing a nation within a nation that was historically wronged and continues to be wronged by a white oppressor. You brought up Christian Nationalism recently. Are you willing to admit there's a Black Nationalism movement that's alive and well within the country, aided and abetted by white liberals, that won't settle for anything less than millions of dollars for every black American in reparations and because that's not possible will continue to act out in anger?
How many National Anthem's does one Nation have? But why is the song divisive? Why?
It's a divider, maybe.
Kari Lake didn't stand. I probably wouldn't either. I would have taken a knee. There is no protocol to stand.
"Lift Every Voice and Sing." The song is old . NAACP chief James Weldon Johnson wrote it in 1900, the "Black national anthem."
There is just one National Anthem.
70 percent of NFL players are African-American. 100% of the Super Bowl this year was Black and woke. It will be hard to make next year blacker.
How many National Anthem's does one Nation have?
You answer my question with a question. Why is the song divisive for you? Why?
You answer my question with a question.
Classic.
Articulate why the song is divisive for you.
How many National Anthem's does one Nation have?
It is impossible for the number one to be divisive. Two of something has the potential to not agree and be divisive. Hope this helps.

I hope you can find all the things you're needing at Wal-mart today. Why is the song divisive for you? Why?
Ask the door greeter to help you find something you can't. They are there to help.So you claim the song is divisive towards you but cannot articulate why. Great!
