In our anything goes culture that's viewed as crazy to not act on your desires. But if one believes that there are more important things to aspire to than self, one can overcome any temptation whether it's straight, gay, or deviant sex or any other temptation.

It's a free country for consenting adults. I don't accept it as normal but I don't hate gays. Until science can prove there's a gay gene it'll be a choice they made at some point.
