Most churches and Religions have very little to do with Jesus (even the ones that say they do). Religions are about “their” religion. Each religion makes perfect sense to their followers but makes no sense to anyone outside of that religion yet they think they will win the world over.

Most church doctrines make no difference as to your salvation. Nothing wrong with most of them if they don't directly contradict scripture and if you feel comfortable in that environment then that is your choice. All that matters is the essentials like the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ.

With her politics she is almost certainly pro abortion but I don't know for sure.

This is what makes it so hard to find a good church to fellowship and spread the word about. On top of trying to simply find faith and the correct way to live your life, you also have to keep your guard up as to "who can you trust" to be gospel driven. Me and my wife moved after I retired 2 and a half years ago and still have yet to find a local church that gives us the feel and support as the church we moved away from.

Proving what I said. All that matters to you makes no sense to other religions. Anyone not in a Christian religion thinks the birth, death and resurrection makes no sense. It works with every religion…. If you’re in a religion it makes sense but to people outside of the religion it seems silly. I’m not saying anyone is right or wrong I’m just saying that Is how all religions and people work.

I just skimmed that church’s website…very wishy washy … they believe that women have the right but frown on it as a means of birth control. Typical of most established Protestant churches in America…that transitioning remark is beyond reasoning considering the teachings of Jesus about Children and Women.
