Like your neighbor borrowing sugar from you, and then you go to your neighbor to get some sugar and they charge you $50. And then the neighbor screams. You’re being unfair because you won’t give the $50. And you demand $50 from them next time. Lol doesn’t make sense.

I'm all for it. Too bad Trump backstabbed his own agreement (FOR GOD'S SAKES LOL) and failed agreements like TPP are a lost opportunity.
More trade is better. Protectionism is not a long term way to grow our economy.

I also like Ron Paul and I also disagree with him on the use of tariffs. Matter fact, the person you voted for last time kept Trump’s tariffs on China. The world did not end.

And things are escalating again. I think the fact that Biden kept the tariffs illustrates how dangerous they are. They stick around longer than is often desired. They become entrenched. They escalate until it's not just a trade war any longer... We would be wise to tread carefully.

I have a couple friends in Vancouver and they've said all the American booze has been pulled from shelves in their neighborhood. If this goes on for long a bunch of American workers will be hurt.
