I'm shocked they are allowed to call themselves economists. If you maintain the current tax rate and reduce wasteful spending until revenue catches up how exactly do you add 3 trillion to the deficit?

the 2017 example - revenue went up after the tax cuts, government spending went up more.

i had another realization today and i apologize because it only took me 60 years to figure it out.

the DNC plan for government:

a) increase government regulations. regulate the piss out of everything .
b) create a bunch of extra government jobs to manage all the extra regulations.
c) a and b creates dependency. Government workers have to vote for dems to keep a and b in place.
